Richmond Castle - English Heritage, North Yorkshire

Richmond Castle commands its position in North Yorkshire overlooking the River Swale.

A large open space in the central grounds of the castle needed bringing to life. We created medieval flags and activity stations to colour the landscape and tell the tales of all the working ruins within. Quizzes, mazes and challenges along the way, using your tally stick (free with your ticket).

 

The museums rooms cover all periods from 11th Century to WW1 and the conscientious objectors. Images, objects, hands on interactives and colour fill the space encompassing interest for all.
