Uniquely styled, you are purchasing a ‘one off’ piece of furniture that has been given a new lease of life to be loved and enjoyed all over again.
This item has undergone a radical change in its appearance from a utilitarian yellow pine. Gone are the chunky brown drawer knobs and squat doughnut shaped feet. This example is now not necessarily bound to be hidden in the bedroom (though it would look beautiful, still!) Imagine it looking amazing in the dining room to store special china, napkins, table runners and cutlery. 
The piece has been finished in mineral furniture paint with an extra tough clear coat to seal and protect the finish. The handles have been replaced with handsome pull handles in a vintage red bronze finish and the ugly feet have been replaced with, substantial yet elegant rose gold 2 pin hairpin furniture legs raising it from the floor and picking out the shades of colour inside the drawer handles.
We have re-loved this chest unreservedly and only the owners will know that inside the drawers the bases have been lined with a lovely textured wallpaper with antique drawings of sea creatures, adding the the theme of whites and blues…you will want to leave one drawer open when visitors arrive!
