Pevensey Castle - English Heritage, East Sussex

 

From Roman Fort to Norman Castle and landing place of William the Conquerors army, the castle was in need of updated interpretation to tell its story.

​

The museum space within the castle is ribboned with information around its perimeter walls and a new interactive model explores the changing landscape and defences.

We bring the role Pevensey played in WW2 to life in the `East tower, where a period telephone rings at the officers desk and visitors are encouraged to partake in the narrative.

 

Once more a family trail means that the whole site will be explored with a code-cracking interactive game.
