Summer Exhibition 2024 - Marc Quinn Light into Life

 

Design project to develop a new sign/interpretation style for the Summer Exhibition in the grounds at Kew - Marc Quinn- Light into life.

The signs needed to fit comfortably within the landscape but be noticeably different to those that we had designed before.

They needed to be suitable for free standing and in-ground versions and of course appropriate for all weather conditions.

Preferably flat-packed when not in use.

A titling band was important

Looking elegant and with the ability to change its guise in future, whether in colour or graphic, subject to the exhibition content.

17 large pieces of art have been installed across the gardens and the interpretation units are set securely around the pieces providing the visitor with the notes from the artist and reflections from the Kew Garden Interpretation team.
