Hailes Abbey - English Heritage, Gloucestershire

Established in 1246 this former abbey in the Cotswolds was the resting place of The Holy Blood of Hailes Little remains of the building itself and the dated museum demanded a gentle and sympathetic refurbishment.

Our design reflects the symmetry of the abbeys layout using the richness of colour to bring the elegance of the museum objects to life in a clean and contemporary manner and with delicate sensitivity for their protection and conservation.
