Belsay Hall, Castle & Gardens, Morpeth, Newcastle- English Heritage

We worked with English Heritage as part of the Belsay Awakes Project. Commissioned with the design of site wide interpretation, each piece required to sit comfortably into the diversity, whether the amazing landscape and gardens, around the fantastic stone walls of the castle or within the grandeur of the shell of the Georgian Hall influenced by the temples of Greece.

Fine black frames support the interpretation in the gardens, in the hall, wooden tables were used in a similar manner so that they sat sympathetically with the remains of the decoration.

Visitor trails are indicated on a single black support with a coloured tag, just big enough to discover and just colourful enough to match the seasons of the flowerbeds.
